The Transitional Living Program

The Transitional Living Program provides housing and support services for homeless and runaway children and youth ages 18-21.

Youth that benefit from this program have often experienced abandonment, abuse, or neglect. The Transitional Living Program supports the return of children and youth to a safe living environment and guides older youth to successful independent living. Most government funded agencies or programs cease to care for children once they reach the age of 18, but in our organization, we continue to care for them through this transitional phase into adulthood. There is nothing magical about turning 18, and we so often find that these children have not fully developed and are not fully prepared to live independently.
